OSHA regulations require all operators of Powered Industrial Trucks (Forklifts) to receive proper training and certification. This regulation stems from the high number of forklift-related fatalities in the USA—around 200-250 fatalities annually.

Duration: 3-4 hours.
Testing: A written test and on-equipment evaluation ensure comprehension of materials and hands-on skills.
On-Equipment Evaluation: Learn to drive a forklift and get familiar with safety protocols, controls, engine operation, steering, maneuvering, load manipulation, stability, inspection, refueling, and hazardous locations.
Practice with a rodeo simulation in a warehouse environment.
